A night to remember...

Why would anybody spend days crafting a submission, submit it to a group of unknown judges, wait several weeks to see if they are shortlisted, pay for taxis, put the champagne on ice and fund a 3 course dinner?

Well I can think of 3 great reasons…


1. because just like good PR, the submission wrote itself
2. a desire for external recognition from the business community of our efforts and achievements
3. a belief that we are at least as good as other companies and as it happens…better than many!

Being shortlisted in a major category like ‘Large Business of the Year’ alongside nine other hopefuls (and very worthy contenders), I can tell you that the doubts crept in majorly - especially when the ‘Highly Recommended’ went to Hi Tech Mouldings. With only two places remaining I was scanning the other names and questioning could it be us?

When Fasset was announced as ‘Runners Up’ I was absolutely chuffed, chuffed for our team and personally chuffed. Never mind we did not win, I send hearty congratulations to Affinion International.

Congratulations Fasset we deserved it ….
