We are all busy…our working day is longer, we go online 24/7…

There is little escape with I Pads, I Phones, wireless technology…we are tuned in and switched on…busy busy busy!

Then you look up and see something like this…where children are smiling, exceptionally proud of their achievements – and with good reason. These young people seized an opportunity, punched above their weight and achieved great things.

I was asked at the latest LEAP programme finale held here at Langstone Technology Park in January, why do you support this sort of initiative and my answer was simple, “We participate in this programme for two reasons, one is that we can and the other is that we should” – small investment, maximum return.

I urge businesses to find out more about being part of community and education initiatives such as EBP. We have a huge amount of talent in the region and we are all responsible for looking longer term and building a successful future.
