Commercial Property Specialist

Langstone Technology Park, Havant, Hampshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Commercial Property Specialist to join a leading FM provider on the South Coast. Key responsibilities include:

• Creation of Creation of Heads of terms for leases and licenses
• Management and interpretation of leases
• Creation of property licenses
• Administration of the Property rates
• Presentation of monthly reports and continual improvement of the reporting process
• Provide internal advice regarding issues in Property/Contract Law
• Creation of commercial contracts (eg data, telephony, furniture rental, logistics and reception services)
• Management of commercial contracts

Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Langstone Technology Park, Havant, Hampshire.

Applicants will be time served in an appropriate trade Apprenticeship with an ONC or equivalent qualification as well as 17th Edition. With a background in M & E systems in a large complex building with centralised plant and equipment, the successful candidate will have the ability to work on their own initiative and proven fault-finding capabilities. It is essential that applicants hold a full UK driving licence and, with the provision of a pool vehicle, is able to work at multiple UK locations with some flexibility in hours.

Knowledge of large complex building M & E systems with centralized plant and equipment is required; specifically:

• 3 Phase electrics including control panels and motors
• Pumped wet heating circuits and associated plumbing
• HMI and SCADA panels
• A/C systems including fan coil cassettes, condensate management etc.
• Single phase ring circuits, power and lighting

Previous experience within a similar technical/maintenance environment is desirable:

• Gas safe
• Cooling towers
• Legionella management
• DX split A/C systems
• Pumps and gearboxes
• P A T testing
• Inverter drives and programmable controllers
• Intelligent BMS

The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, be a team player and have the ability to work under pressure. In addition, he/she will be competent in use of Microsoft products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.

Environmental Specialist

Langstone Technology Park, Havant, Hampshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Environmental Specialist to join a leading FM provider on the South Coast.

Applicants will have a degree (or equivalent) in an environmental related discipline with experience of day to day management of ISO 14001. A proven track record and demonstrable experience of implementing and continuously improving ISO 14001 is essential.

Experience Required:

• Internal auditing experience is required, in particular to ISO 9001 & ISO 14001.
• Working knowledge of Health & Safety Management Systems is desirable.
• Must be able to conduct an incident investigation and root cause analysis & monitor and close out actions resulting from RCA associated with incident investigation.

Role Requirements:

• Day to day management of the Fasset Environmental Management System, including analysis and improvement of environmental performance of the business.
• Promote & raise awareness of environmental issues and best practice, promoting employee participation in identifying environmental issues and improvements on the workplace.
• Ensure that Fasset sites, customers & contractors remain compliant with all aspects of current environmental legislation & be responsible for communicating all legislative updates to interested parties.
• Continually review the impact of legislation and best practice.
• Provide expert knowledge to internal and external customers and stakeholders in relation to environmental best practice.
• Assess environmental training needs and deliver training (where applicable) or arrange with competent provider. Ensure training is documented in line with the Fasset Document Control Policy and monitor, review and refresh were applicable.
• Prepare & execute internal site audits in accordance with the requirements of ISO 14001. Realise opportunities for developing business revenue streams in relation to environmental services.
• Manage the internal audit schedules & reports for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & OHSAS 18001.
• Collate and provide information to assist in the generation of monthly reports to the Business Excellence Manager.
• Understand the requirements of an effective Environmental Management System and manage all related documentation accordingly.
• Ensure environmental documentation is controlled using the company web based document control system.

HR Administration (Apprentice)

Langstone Technology Park, Havant, Hampshire.

A new position has been identified for an HR Administration Apprentice to provide administration support to the HR Manager whilst developing knowledge and skills in HR practices in order to drive best practice throughout the business.

Applicants will be educated to 'A' level or equivalent standard, have excellent spoken and written English, a good knowledge of Excel, Word and Email and previous administration experience within a corporate office environment.

Duties will include maintaining the HR database and running reports, providing administrative support in all areas of HR including drafting documents and correspondence, monitoring and tracking review dates, taking up references, liaising with external recruitment bodies and line managers to shortlist and arrange interviews, maintaining the company's training matrix and organisation chart etc. In addition, the successful person will be responsible for ensuring that all Fasset documentation is controlled and up-to-date on the Company's intranet.

The successful candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to use their discretion when working with confidential information. He/she will be able to prioritise and set his/her own deadlines, provide good quality work and have strong organisational skills. In return, the Company will support the successful candidate in achieving the Business Administration NVQ level 3.

Lead Technician

Caswell Science and Technology Park, Northamptonshire.

We are currently recruiting for an Operations and Maintenance Lead Technician at Caswell Science and Technology Park at our Northamptonshire site. The successful candidate will lead a small Operations and Maintenance Shift Team in support of the Park manufacturing and office facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A proven track record in a similar/related role after having completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent in electrical/mechanical engineering
• Electrical and mechanical technical competency with experience relating to a technology/manufacturing environment
• IEE regs trained, 17th edition desirable
• Experience and operational knowledge of Building Services and specialist environment systems including the following would be a distinct advantage:
  • Air Handling Systems
  • Close Control Class 100 – 10,000 Clean Room environments
  • Primary & Secondary Chilled Water systems
  • Boilers & LTHW systems
  • DI Water (18 Meg Ohm quality) systems

Major Objectives of Role

As a part of the technical service delivery team, the successful candidate will proactively support both reactive and PPM tasks that are produced by the QFM 'Facilities Management System'. As a part of a "two man" team he/she will be responsible for ensuring that an end to end process is followed to ensure that the highest standard of equipment maintenance is achieved and meets the clients' expectations.
