BAE Systems

Fasset works with corporate occupiers to make vacant floor space pay its way. In the case of BAE Underwater Systems, Waterlooville Fasset worked alongside the in-house management team to develop the strategic and tactical plans for turning the site into a multi-occupancy Technology Park.

The original aim was to create a thriving business hub and reduce the operating costs of freeholder owner BAE.  So far, eight companies have based themselves at the 16-acre, 300,000ft2 park alongside the BAE Underwater Systems Division. The Park was formally launched in October 2007 and has UK Science Park status.

Fasset, with BAE Systems, created a new brand for the site, Systems Technology Park, and built the business plan. This included developing a master-plan for the development of the Park and assisting the in-house management team to develop the processes for marketing and delivering facilities management services.

The strategic plans continue to be developed and Fasset has created a range of evaluated scenarios for BAE to consider within the context of their core business strategy.
